Squirrel Standoff

Allene,
Lady and Torrie have made a wonderful addition to my home. Torrie loves to sit and watch the fish in the fish tank. I bought a video for them to watch, and Lady enjoys the butterfly on the video. The other day, a squirrel came upon the patio, and there was a standoff. The squirrel on one side and Torrie and Lady on the other. It was the funniest thing to watch. My nieces have come to stay with me, and they love to play with both of the cats. They have the greatest personalities.

I just want to thank you for letting us adopt Zoe. She is wonderful and very affectionate. Pretty soon she will have us all trained and be ruling the house, Ha! She is very vocal about what she wants and that is usually “please cuddle with me” :-) Again, thanks and don’t worry about her, she is in a very loving home.

This is a funny one. Last night I was laying on the bed with no shirt on watching TV and Zoe kept eyeing up my boob and trying to bite it or something. It was hilarious. Needless to say, I went under the covers to get her to stop the infatuation…….

Zoe really likes playing with the girls. I got them a 3 foot long pole with leather sassles on the end and Zoe goes jumping crazy for it. Every day, we are opening up more rooms to her to investigate, and boy does she investigate.

Brotherly Love, boomer & murphy

I'm sure you have seen and heard almost everything about cats, but I don't think you have heard this one. I'm sure Mike has told you that Boomer is extremely attached to me, he literally follows me everywhere and it's gotten so bad that Mike bought me one of those slings to carry babies so that I can carry him around when I'm doing things. We have a steam shower and I love to get in it. The other day Boomer was outside the shower crying, so I opened the door hoping the steam would scare him, but no, he walked right in there and I had to carry him in the steam shower! So there we are--both sweating in there. I got tired of carrying him and ended up taking him out. I just love him so much!

Mike got another European Burmese kitten. I didn't know how that would work with Boomer and the other cat. However, they were best of buds from day one. Thanks again for Boomer,

Lexi's Winter Vacation

Just a short note to send you some pictures of Lexi at her winter home.
She is getting more gorgeous every day.

Just a short note to let you know how wonderful I think you and your Mayonaka Cattery is!!! Sitting on my lap right now is the newest member of our family……Ozzie!!! A beautiful Lilac European Burmese! I searched all over the US looking for a Male Lilac European Burmese with not much luck. I was beginning to think that there weren’t any at this time when I received an email from a friend of yours telling me that you had a 4 month old available that was supposed to go to Australia but he ended up not going, so he had just become available that morning! Well I was instantly excited!! He must have been meant to be, because he didn’t go to Australia, he came to Harrisburg, PA instead! From the beginning of the adoption of Ozzie, you Allene have been absolutely wonderful! You emailed me lots of different pictures of Ozzie, and told me all about him, so that when he got here, I felt like I already knew him! When we picked Ozzie up at the airport, it was love at first sight! He is a wonderful kitten, very playful and also very loving. We can’t love him enough! Allene, you are such a wonderful person to buy a European Burmese from. You were so helpful and you went above and beyond in the adoption. You even sent Ozzie’s favorite toy along with him! He was at the Vet’s yesterday and has a very clean bill of health! The vet said that who ever you got him from is a very reputable breeder and I would highly recommend you to anyone that is interested in purchasing one of your wonderful cat’s! I can’t thank you enough for Ozzie and I look forward to keeping in touch!

Ahzzie is just wonderful. He is so loving and so fun. I think we all fight over him!!! I wanted to ask you if he use to sleep with you at nite? He comes up on our bed and rotates between Mike and I all nite long! Last nite he slept across my entire neck!! He is so cute! He doesn't get down all nite long. The boys told me yesterday that they love him so much! I can't thank you enough for him. Oh, and the pics? Oh yes, that would be wonderful if you used them on your website! I am flattered! The boys thought that his name was Ozzie, and they keep calling him that, but I think they are pronouned the same way aren't they? I think its just eaiser for them to spell it that way.

I have been wanting to send you some pictures ever since I tried emailing them and it didn't work. I stuck some photos in the snail mail to you today. I hope you enjoy them. Obi is fine. He is quite spoiled, but of course that is O.K. He is a GREAT kitty. In fact, if I had it to do all over again, we would get two kitties from you. Evan likes Naboo, so that is good. But Obi has a much nicer coat, build and personality than Naboo. I am not sure how much of it is the litter, individual cat or just male vs. female. Naboo is fine, but OBI is our favoirte by far (except maybe from Evan's standpoint). Lynn even really likes Obi. (He had never liked cats before).
